The Wild Side - Destiny Blaine A Hearts On Fire Review "The Wild Side", MMF werewolf paranormal by Destiny Blaine is the first of A Wolf's Endowment Trilogy. Based on the book blurb, simpleminded Joe was going to ascend into being the pack master of an East Tennessee werewolf pack. What caught my eye was the simpleminded part. Because he's going to become a leader? I must read this! And Joe does...by popping his cherry with one of his ordained mates, Rebecca. Then a sudden influx of brain cells enter Joe's brain. And suddenly he strokes like a porn star. And after he finishes he runs in the woods. For what? I don't know but he seems to love running away from the scene of the...sex afterwards. There was not explanation given. And Joe's other mate, Jacob? He too has sex with Joe. And this is where I question some things. Joe goes from simple-minded to being super knowledgeable about gay sex after popping his cherry with Rebecca? There's no explanation as to how he turned into a sex pro when in the beginning of the book he did even seem to like women and didn't want to be around Rebecca.Basically this was porn with a weak and rushed plot. We are introduced to point A in one scene and then we are at point D in the next with no explanation how we skipped B or C.Would I suggest you to read? If you're in a mood for okay-ish sex scenes. Just don't expect all members of the menage to stick around afterwards. There's some werewolf mythology introduced, an awkward and sub par fight-like scene that really made no sense for the story. Maybe it'll be explained in the future installments, who knows? *shrugs* Am I anxious to read the next parts? Eh, not really.
